Grants 3,500th Wish!
“I wish to go to Monterey Bay to pet the sharks”
Six-year-old Dominic from Madison was the 3,500th child to receive his wish since the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin opened its doors in 1984. He went to Monterey Bay in California, where he went whale watching and pet sharks at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. His mom said, “This was very exciting for Dominic. He loved touching everything.”
Dominic is also serving as one of our five very special frontrunners for this year’s Walk & Run for Wishes, held Saturday, August 22, 2009 along Milwaukee’s lakefront. For more information, go to www.walkforwishes.com.
